The End of This WorkSeptember 16, 2005 Article By: Tom Demeter Why End the First Witness' Work Now? Dear Friend, God is omnipotent, all powerful, omniscient, ever present, eternal, limitless and loving. Please TAKE a moment and meditate on this. Humans and angels were created to be opposite to God in every way. This is why God's plan of salvation of humanity and the angelkind is based on our "alienation" from God, and our "reconciliation" to God through Jesus our Christ. Humans and angels are LIMITED, to be much lower than the Godkind. This is why God's ways and thoughts are "foolishness" to us. What God does makes no sense to us. Why would God SHUT DOWN the "work" of His First Witness now, when we need him the most? This is when God should give power and strength to help us, seeing how close we are to the End of the World. Christ by SHUTTING His work is doing what He did before 70 AD, when He brought the Romans to destroy Jerusalem the physical Temple of God, and the nation of Israel. Christ moved out from the TEMPLE and resided on the Mount of Olives, and from there ascended to heaven. He left His "spiritual temple" in humans among us, those who had His "holy spirit." Christ is doing this very thing with us. He is telling us, that the "work" of His First Witness of His Two Witnesses is finished. The "mystery" of God has been "restored" the three laws of God, and His three religions, and three governments has been "restored," in principle, academically. Now Christ will send His Second Witness and its two Prophets, to establish His laws, religions and kingdoms physically, on the earth as a type, before He will bring His government at His second coming. True Christians know that the "god of this world" 2Cor.4:4 is Satan the Devil, who has no truth in him Jn.8:44. Jesus our Christ and Creator Eph.3:9 is the truth Jn.14:6. Christ by sending His Second Witness and his "work" Acts.13:41 will create a huge CONFLICT on the world. Christ will use this conflict to separate the "children of God" from the "children of the Devil" IJn.3:10, harvesting the first group to be lifted into the Godkind. The rest will be lifted, saved later in the "ages to come" Eph.2:7. What will Happen to the First Witness and His Followers?The First Witness' work Acts.13:41 was like Noah's Mat.24:37. He had no followers. This is one reason God SHUT DOWN his work, eliminating the opportunity of his potential followers to enter God's Place of Safety, by not being able to be "baptized" by the First Witness, into God's Philadelphia Church Rev.3:7 to receive God's "holy spirit." This is a WARNING to all Christians, that after Christ has sounded the "MIDNIGHT CRY" Mat.25:6 of the Beast's coming, done by God's First and Second Witnesses, the doors to God's Place of Safety will be SHUT V.10. This act of God, leaves God's Elect and His Firstfruits and the Great Multitude leaderless. This will create a need now, as it did in the time of Israel, when the time came to "flee" from the oppression of Egypt. Israel had to wait for a leader. God caused Moses to be born, than for forty years to rule in Egypt. Then Moses was made to wonder as a shepherd in the wilderness for 40 years, to learn "God's ways," before God brought him back to Egypt to lead His people out from Egypt. God's pattern how He deals with us has not changed. The First Witness will have a second phase of his work, like Moses did, and Jesus and Apostle Paul, only the timing will be different. We know that the First Witness will appear after the Second Witness appeared and has started his work, as the 144,000 of his followers are doing their work. What will God's children do, until the First Witness arrives? They will do what Israel did in Egypt, and what Israel is doing now waiting for God's Second Witness, and the Christians did after the Apostles were killed by persecution in the first century. They will need to "endure" their suffering Mat.24:13, and prepare themselves with STUDY, Fasting and prayer, that when the First Witness appears, again they would be "ready" Mat.24:44, to do what he is saying. What will the First Witness do until his work starts again? Same as Moses did, prepare for the Exodus, to lead Israel out of Egypt. Moses had to learn "God's ways" compared to what he learned in Egypt which was the "world's ways." Moses had to know "both ways." Being with God for 40 years, Moses realized that he had to be constantly in touch with God, and not lean on his own understanding. This is why with every problem Moses had to go to the Tabernacle to talk with the God of Israel. We are living at the most sophisticated time of human history. We have been blessed to experience Satan's government and the ways he works with us. Christ is also setting up His government now. We are blessed with Christ's greatest blessings by learning both systems. We don't realize it now how much we are blessed, until our time comes to receive our rewards from Christ, at his second coming. We are ALL in an accelerated training course, yet we are not realizing it. This is the best type of training. Our experiences, trials may not make sense to us at this time, but it will very soon. How Should Christians Wait for God's First Witness?Jesus the Son of God, now our Christ, the Captain of our Salvation Heb.2:10 was made "better" Heb.1:2,4 and "perfect through sufferings" Heb.2:10. We are asked to follow in His footsteps. We are told by Apostle Paul: "unto YOU it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to 'believe' on Him, but also to SUFFER for His sake" Phil.1:29. My friends, when Jesus went up to heaven, He asked His disciples (see their qualifications Lk.14:26,27,33) to wait for the "holy spirit" Acts.1:1-8. The leaders, the Apostles all were in one place waiting, hidden from the world, in an upper room with fasting and prayer. Out of the multitude Jesus ministered, there were 120 who "waited" with "one accord" V.14 and study. Peter preached to them, preparing them to be Christ's "witnesses." We can't be in one place, because we are scattered through out the world. We can only be in "one place" through the internet. Never in the history of the world were offered so great "spiritual blessings in heavenly places" as to us. We are given the very deepest secrets of the Godkind. This is God's "mystery" and the setting up of God's Kingdom of Heaven on earth to be our Embassies of God. If you aspire to be an Elect of God, to be in the first or "better" resurrection into eternal life without dying, you need to prepare now to be a "witness" for Christ, and His Kingdom and eternal life. For this you need to become a "disciple" of Christ. You must "come out" of this world, because you can't serve two masters. We, like the Apostles must study and train to know what we need to know and do, that when the First Witness arrives, we could be at one accord with him, doing God's work, sounding the final call, God's "MIDNIGHT CRY" of the Beast's coming. You need to understand, and know, and be able act as God's Elect, that when the First Witness appears again, you could do the "work" of God, with power, which you never experienced before. I am not saying that you will perform "signs, wonders and miracles," because they are "physical" gifts and blessings. You are given "spiritual blessing in heavenly places" Eph.1:3b. In "our work" "it is the SPIRIT that quickeneth; the 'flesh' profits nothing" Jn.6:63. How Long do We Need to Wait?After Jesus was crucified and died, He was resurrected, and went up to heaven to be accepted by His Father. After Christ's resurrection He visited His disciples for forty days Acts.1:3. Before Christ was taken up to heaven, not to be seen again, He asked His disciples to wait fifty days, to receive God's spirit the "holy spirit" Acts.1:8; 2:1. This is when the "work" of the Christian church began, immediately colliding with the earlier religion given by God to Israel. Christ's new theory and teachings now became a reality to those who were "called," and to the government of Israel. If Christ is using the "pattern" ITim.1:16 of the New Testament, than we are given ninety days, to start doing the "work" Acts.13:41 of the Philadelphia church today. This is a very short time to prepare and to be ready to do God's work. We know that we need to wait for God's Second Witness to come. We need to wait for the 144,000 Israelites to at least start to do their work. We know that before they can do their "work," a great political and religious change must take place in Israel and Jerusalem. We will notice this by the changes coming to the USA. As Jesus gave warning to His church through His Apostles, before the invasion of Israel by the Romans, before 70 AD, to "flee" to Pella in Greece, Christ is giving us hints and later WARNINGS to be ready to "flee." To make us sensitive and to know whom we should trust and follow, Christ is working with us now, preparing us. Please remember that Christ is an gentleman. He will not force you, or shout at you. Christ talks with you by "a still small voice" IKings.19:12b. You need to "draw close to Him," with fasting and prayer seeking Him, and His counsel James 4:8,9. Today with all this religious, legal, financial physical confusion around us, it takes TIME to calm our spirit, mind and body to "hear" Christ. This is why the Apostles first function was of study, prayer and fast and meditate on the word, to minister / teach God's people. We are at the End of the World. The world will be destroyed, as it was in the days of Noah. Christ is calling you, to be part of His Philadelphia church, among His seven churches. This means that you can't just listen to every teacher and preacher, who might sound good, and give you good Biblical teachings. You must listen to Christ's First Witness, or you will be in confusion, and will not be able to do God's "work" Acts.13:41, of the First Witness, and you will not qualify to be in the resurrection without dying, and will not receive the rewards, of the Philadelphia church. I pray, that the time Christ is giving you to be without God's servant, you take time to STUDY and prepare to ACT, to be ready to be one of God's Elect. This means total concentration of study, and prepare to "sacrifice" to be one of Christ's "disciples," fulfilling its "requirements" given in Lk.14:26,27,33.
